Two large curved forms respond to one another across the composition, creating a sense of rhythm and visual dialogue.
Warm whites, deep burgundy, muted blue, olive green, ochre and terracotta create a sophisticated, restrained palette. Built through successive layers of oil paint, scraping and reworking, the textured surface softens the geometry and reveals subtle traces of the artist’s process.
The musical title, meaning “In Two Voices,” reflects the relationship between the two dominant forms, which remain distinct while contributing to a unified composition.
