Louis XV Style Oval Giltwood Mirror, 19th Century
An elegant 19th-century oval mirror in carved and gilded wood, richly decorated with scrolls, foliage, and shells, characteristic of 19th-century decorative arts.
The upper section is adorned with a finely carved pediment, while the lower section terminates in a shell motif, giving the whole a harmonious and balanced silhouette.
The original gilding, delicately patinated, offers beautiful depth and authentic warmth.
The mirror retains its original silvering, with slight signs of age, typical of antique mirrors, which fully contribute to its charm.
An elegant decorative piece, ideal for a classic or Haussmannian interior, but also perfect for adding a touch of character to a contemporary setting.
