Defined by a balanced square brass structure, the design immediately communicates clarity and restraint while revealing subtle complexity on closer inspection. The brass frame is warm in tone and beautifully proportioned, forming the architectural core of the lamp and giving it a strong yet elegant presence in space. On both the upper and lower sides, square glass diffusers are gently bent, introducing a soft curvature that contrasts with the strict geometry of the brass. This slight deformation is not merely decorative but carefully considered, adding visual depth and allowing the light to spread evenly and gracefully. The lower glass shade is secured by a distinctive square brass knob, an understated yet expressive detail that reinforces the coherence of the overall design. The typical greenish Fontana Arte glass is satinized on the inside, producing a refined, diffused glow that is both atmospheric and functional, avoiding glare while enhancing the sculptural qualities of the fixture. The chandelier uses four bulbs positioned centrally and oriented in different directions, ensuring an even distribution of light throughout the space. When illuminated, the lamp reveals its full character, with light softly washing across the glass surfaces and subtly reflecting off the brass structure. The piece is in very good original condition, electrically tested and fully functional, preserving both its aesthetic integrity and usability. A pair of these are available and a single one which has a matte under shade and shiny upper shade. This makes it possible to create a harmonious pair which is pretty rare.
