The first painting features a comic character dressed in a red costume with tassels, a wide white collar, and a pointed hat—evoking a clown or a character from the commedia dell'arte. His joyful expression and dynamic pose recall the world of the circus and popular theater.

The second painting presents a 17th-century musketeer or nobleman, dressed in an elegant costume with a cape, boots, and a feathered hat. He holds a scroll in one hand and stands proudly before an architectural backdrop.

Both works demonstrate a great attention to detail in the costumes and poses and are framed in beautiful period carved wood frames.
