An excellent pair of Vallauris ceramic candlesticks, made in the mid-20th century in France. Sculptural in character, with an organic aesthetic evident in the serpentine lines reminiscent of nature. Each piece is composed of two intertwined sections. In ochre and metallic tones, the center of each piece is decorated with abstract yellow forms bordered by greenish, curved edges.
