This rare ensemble was manufactured around 1930 by the renowned company John Round & Son (JR&S) in the silver city of Sheffield, England. The strictly geometric, faceted shape of the vessels is a prime example of the 1930s avant-garde. The set was designed in such a way that the teapot, milk jug, and sugar bowl fit together in an extremely space-saving manner, forming a harmonious unit on the square serving tray. The angular knob and the handle of the teapot are made of bakelite.
Material: Silver plating on solid copper (EPBM/EPNS). This method of manufacture gives the silver an incomparably warm, deep luster.
Beautiful vintage condition with authentic patina. No damage. The silver plating is very well preserved. This piece has an attribution mark,
