The lower section is adorned with bas-relief carvings: a frieze of interlaced circles surmounting a pointed arch motif of reinterpreted Gothic inspiration. The elongated, gilt brass hardware depicts finely chiseled interlacing foliage and ribbons framing oval keyhole escutcheons. Original key present, locks functional. The interior, made of pine, is fitted with four fixed shelves on a slatted back panel, suitable for use as a bookcase or linen storage. Entirely original, in perfect condition, requiring no restoration.
