Solid oak shop counter, Art Nouveau period, circa 1900-1910, fully restored by the seller's workshop.
The counter has a polygonal shape with chamfered corners, characteristic of Belle Époque commercial furniture. The main front is structured with molded panels, surmounted by a profiled cornice with coves; sculpted scroll brackets occupy the corners, and a central decorative element in the form of a crossbar emphasizes the ornamental vocabulary of the style. The slightly overhanging top is fitted with a parallel-slatted brass grid for payments. On the seller's side, the counter features two drawers, one with a lock, as well as open shelves divided into four compartments. The restoration has given the piece a uniform blond hue, while preserving the authenticity of the original carvings and ornamentation. Excellent overall condition. Lock present.
Dimensions: H. 100 cm × W. 90 cm × D. 67 cm. Weight: 50 kg.
