All pieces feature hand-painted decoration with plant and floral motifs. Against a warm, neutral, sandy background, delicately drawn orange flowers, each slightly different from the others, stand out. On the pitcher, the ornamental repertoire expands with small white flowers and plant elements, such as the greenish leaves arranged at the base.

The inscription "Bresse" on the base indicates its connection to the pottery tradition of the Bresse region of France, an area with a long history of artisanal ceramic production. Its traditional pottery was particularly characterized by the production of utilitarian glazed earthenware pieces (terre vernissée), intended for domestic use and decorated with simple geometric and floral motifs. This set continues this tradition, adapted during the 20th century to a more decorative style.
