It opens … Read more A very beautiful 19th-century Norman wardrobe, particularly decorative due to the richness and finesse of its carved decoration.

It opens with two large doors lavishly adorned with floral and foliate motifs. The upper section is embellished with a lovely carved floral basket, while the doors feature numerous floral, foliate, and medallion decorations, lending the piece considerable charm and elegance.

It has a beautiful bluish-grey patina, enhanced by delicate cream highlights that accentuate the carvings and add depth to the decoration. The close-up photographs best reveal the true color of the patina as well as the nuances of the highlights.

One of the great advantages of this wardrobe also lies in its particularly appealing dimensions. Unlike many Norman wardrobes, which are often very tall and imposing, this one maintains proportions that are much easier to integrate into a room. At 209 cm high and only 127 cm wide, it will fit perfectly in a living room, entryway, or bedroom.
