The lightweight wooden frame is veneered with beech burl veneer, its graceful grain visible, for example, in the continuous lines of the drawers, emphasized by the glossy varnish. Beech burl was a highly valued material in post-war Europe for its sophisticated and decorative character.

This chest of drawers features a simple and functional design with clean, straight lines. The structure combines three drawers with circular, turned wooden handles and a side module with two hinged doors, also with discreet button-shaped handles. The asymmetrical arrangement of drawers and doors introduces dynamism without compromising the formal balance, while the outward-sloping legs, typical of mid-century furniture, lend lightness to the piece. It should be noted that in 1950s Spain, furniture inspired by European Mid-Century design and Scandinavian styles was produced, especially in workshops and factories that followed international design trends.
