The piece features a beautiful red lacquer finish (red japanning) with rich gold leaf decorations and polychrome Chinoiserie-style scenes (exotic landscapes and hand-painted oriental figures).

A piece of great character, perfect as a contrasting element even in modern furnishings.

The upper body features a double, shaped door surmounted by a dramatic cornice, while the lower body features a chest of drawers with three large drawers decorated with floral motifs and burnished metal handles.

Excellent vintage condition. Solid structure, vivid colors and lacquer, with minimal, normal signs of aging on the edges, certifying its authenticity. Minor restoration is considered. See less
