It was produced in Denmark by Gemina Møbler, and the original maker's mark is clearly visible under the crossbar. Furthermore, this piece combines warm teak, art ceramic, and a woven magazine rack.

Scandinavian Design: The Charm of a Vintage Teak and Ceramic Coffee Table

The rectangular tabletop features gently softened corners. A frieze of glazed ceramic tiles runs through its center. The patterns are both abstract and organic. This combination of materials proves particularly functional. The ceramic tiles are highly resistant to heat and humidity, so you can place your glasses on them without worrying about staining the wood.

In addition, a caned magazine rack completes the set. This lower shelf frees up the main tabletop for everyday use. As a result, it elegantly highlights the tapered Mid-Century legs.

Restoration and Condition

This piece has undergone meticulous restoration in our workshop:

Teak wood: The frame was first completely sanded. Then, we applied a natural oil to nourish the golden grain and protect the wood.

Ceramic: Furthermore, all the tiles remain in perfect condition, without chips or cracks.

Cane weaving: Finally, the lower weave remains taut. However, we can point out, through the transparent surface, a discreet break on a single strand, which does not affect its strength.

In short, this authentic vintage teak and ceramic coffee table will easily find its place in your retro or contemporary interior.
