This sculptural piece is made entirely of larch, cherry, and maple wood with a transparent colored varnish.
One door and three internal shelves.
Entirely handmade using traditional carving techniques passed down through three generations.
Designed by the artist in 1989, it is part of a limited edition of 10 pieces.
A beautiful sculptural object depicting a moving "Mayan Man."
On the back, the larch carving expresses the rotation of the piece.
The thin maple carving ideally forms the dress, and the lower cherry part forms the feet, symbolizing and recalling the architecture of the Mayan temples.
