The molded plastic shade expands from a slender central neck into a broad, sweeping trumpet form measuring 60 cm (23.6 in) in diameter. Fine radiating white and yellow lines follow the curvature of the shade, creating a dynamic optical effect that changes with the viewing angle and becomes especially atmospheric when illuminated. Yellow detailing along the outer rim and ceiling canopy completes the characteristic 1970s palette. An expressive example of Italian Space Age lighting, equally suited to Mid-Century Modern, Postmodern and contemporary interiors.
