A striking vintage ufo pendant lamp attributed to josef hurka for napako, produced in czechoslovakia in the 1930s. The lamp features a distinctive saucer-shaped body in polished chrome-plated metal combined with a large milky frosted glass diffuser. Its clean geometric construction reflects the principles of bauhaus, functionalism and early modernism, creating a highly sculptural yet restrained piece of early czechoslovak lighting design. The interior contains three black bulb holders, arranged around the central mounting. The original suspension rod and spherical chrome ceiling canopy complete the streamlined design. The highly reflective chrome contrasts beautifully with the opaque white glass, giving the lamp its characteristic ufo appearance. A particularly strong example for collectors of josef hurka, napako, czechoslovak modernist lighting and bauhaus-influenced design.

The chrome retains its reflective finish but shows age-related surface marks, scratches and patina. The interior and edges show additional traces consistent with age. The milk glass diffuser also has minor signs of age. Please refer to the photographs for the overall condition. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
