Elegant original 1950s stool attributed to renowned Czechoslovak furniture designer Jindřich Halabala, originating from Czechoslovakia. The stool features a distinctive rounded upholstered form with an original decorative floral textile. The fabric combines delicate floral motifs with vertical stripes and is enhanced by contrasting golden twisted cord piping. The top is finished with a central upholstered button, while the cord continues outward in a radial pattern, creating an attractive sunburst-like composition. The compact sculptural shape and decorative upholstery reflect the refined character of mid-century Czechoslovak furniture, making this piece suitable as an occasional seat, footstool, vanity stool or decorative accent.
