An impressive pair of original industrial desk lamps dating from 1955, featuring black-painted metal construction, glossy dome-shaped shades, and articulated adjustable arms. The lamps are marked with a manufacturer's plate indicating type 11605 and the date II-1955. Their functionalist design combines robust industrial construction with a distinctive mid-century appearance, making them suitable for vintage interiors, architectural spaces, offices, studios, or collectors of historic lighting. Each lamp features an adjustable articulated arm and a repositionable shade. The distance between the shade and the lamp body can be changed, allowing the angle and direction of the light to be adjusted according to the user's needs. The glossy black shades contrast with the textured metal bodies, original braided electrical cords, and heavy round bases. The combination of industrial materials and functional design gives the pair a strong sculptural presence.
