The lamp features a broad trumpet-shaped metal base supporting an elegant opaline glass body. A contrasting blue lacquered ring visually separates the lower glass section from the large removable domed shade, creating a bold, futuristic silhouette strongly associated with italian space age design of the period. The use of multiple materials and carefully balanced geometric forms gives the lamp a particularly architectural presence. When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses the light beautifully, producing a warm and atmospheric glow across both the upper dome and lower body. Three internal light sources provide generous illumination and enhance the sculptural qualities of the glass. The metal components have been carefully repolished and the lamp has been professionally rewired with new electrical components. It is fitted with three e12/e14 sockets and is compatible with european and us electrical systems.
