Pair of minimalist white reflector wall lights produced in Germany during the 1960s.
This type of simple and functional lighting was selected by Charlotte Perriand for her interiors in the French Alps, where industrial lighting elements were incorporated into her architectural schemes.
Designed for use with silver-crowned mirror bulbs, the shallow reflectors bounce the light back across the off-white surface and onto the wall, creating a soft halo of indirect illumination.
The lights retain their original vintage painted finish with minor marks, scratches and variations consistent with age and use. One retains its German VDE label with a maximum rating of 100W.
Two matching pairs are available, allowing a group of four lights to be used for a larger architectural installation. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer,
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
