Early 20th-century pharmacy trade sign featuring reverse-painted graphics on glass and bold "PRESCRIPTIONS" lettering. Tall yellow letters with substantial red outlining stand prominently against a glossy black ground, surrounded by a narrow coordinating border that emphasizes the elongated rectangular composition. The reverse-painted technique protects the decorative surface behind the glass while producing the crisp, saturated appearance characteristic of period commercial signage. Housed in a substantial black-painted wooden frame, the sign would have served as an easily recognizable display for a pharmacy or drugstore prescription counter.
