Hermès la Maison Dorée 1976
This scarf is part of the "Carrés d'Art" and special edition collections. It pays tribute to the *Maison Dorée*, a building constructed during the Second Empire. Its architectural setting was a favorite haunt of Paris's literary elite-including Balzac and Proust-and later became a venue where renowned painters showcased their avant-garde works. Ultimately, in 1974, BNP acquired this historic site and established its headquarters there following a restoration.
The *Maison Dorée* scarf was created in 1976 to celebrate this legendary and unique landmark.
