Authentic vintage L. Hitchcock maple cricket stool. Features a thick, solid circular seat adorned with the brand’s signature stenciled fruit and floral motif in muted green and amber tones. Crafted in a warm maple finish, the rustic three-legged stool is structurally supported by heavily turned splayed legs accented with decorative gold ring bands. The legs are firmly secured by a low-set, triangular perimeter stretcher system that maximizes stability and durability. The underside features the genuine stenciled maker's mark reading "L. HITCHCOCK. HITCHCOCKS-VILLE. CONN. WARRANTED.", confirming its heritage and collectible status as a classic piece of early American-style Hitchcock furniture.
