The surface of the plate is composed of colored veneers and mother-of-pearl fragments to form a circular decorative pattern. The outer ring of blue and yellow triangular blocks surrounds the scattered mother-of-pearl in the center. The shell pieces reveal a soft pearlescent color under the light.
The three pieces have gradient diameters and can be used individually to place tea sets, desserts and fresh fruits, or directly as tabletop displays. Mother-of-pearl inlay requires craftsmen to assemble it piece by piece, and the arrangement of the pieces in each set of trays is slightly different.
