Vintage Gucci figural dog sculpture depicting a spaniel in a lively standing pose with one paw raised. Made in Italy, the piece features exceptionally detailed modeling throughout, from the long feathered ears and expressive face to the textured coat and oversized paws.
Executed in silver-tone metal with darker patination settling naturally into the recessed details, giving the sculpture considerable depth and character. The underside is stamped “GUCCI MADE IN ITALY.”
A wonderful example of Gucci's vintage decorative objects and animalier-inspired accessories. Its elongated profile and animated stance make it particularly attractive displayed on a bookshelf, console, desk, library shelf or within a collection of designer animal figures.
