Nuart double nude figure lamp with frosted glass spiral lampshade and bronze finish. Lamp has been re-wired and is in working condition.
Nuart Metal Creations was a well-known maker of Art Deco products based in New York City throughout the 20s and 30s. It rivaled and is often compared to Frankart for its nude subjects featured in an array of catalog items such as lamps, ashtrays and bookends.
Their unique crackled lampshades stand out for their bold and unusual forms. This shade in particular is a particularly sought after example. A must-have for any serious Art Deco collector.
