c. 1920s; Parker Brothers Inc. - Salem, MA
Antique "Banner Lotto" game by Parker Brothers paired with an antique bolillero, or lottery drum.
The Parker Bros. game was created as a children's board game in the early 20th century. It includes the original lotto cards, metal squares, and lotto checking sheet. However, this piece appears to have been utilized as an actual bingo or lotto-type game with the introduction of a pinewood bingo or lotto drum with a glass pane holding the call sheet in place. The spinning drum is filled with a multitude of plastic chips for marking off numbers and a small drawer in the front hold all the remaining pieces.
