Antique framed advertising mirror produced for W. D. & H. O. Wills of Bristol and London, featuring a colorful depiction of a Capstan Navy Cut Cigarettes package applied against a mirrored ground. The central package graphic is rendered in blue, cream, and gold tones and identifies the cigarettes as "Medium Strength," with W. D. & H. O. Wills branding prominently displayed below. Capstan was a longstanding British tobacco brand associated with Navy Cut tobacco, a preparation whose name derives from traditional methods of tightly binding tobacco for storage and use at sea. Housed in a warm-toned wooden frame with narrow inner trim, the piece combines functional mirror glass with early 20th-century commercial advertising.
