Charcoal and watercolor on paper board circa 1920-1940, signed by listed artist Clare Shenehon Boyd. Boyd (1895–1986) was an American Modernist painter who studied at the Art Students League in New York under George Luks and Boardman Robinson, two pillars of the Ashcan School, known for gritty, working-class realism and strong draftsmanship.
Presented in a vintage frame with some imperfections. Thoughtfully finished with acid-free archival materials, including conservation clear glass.
