Originating from the French Riviera, this iconic piece poetically combines the rigor of its metal structure with the botanical finesse of its stoneware tiles. The square tabletop is composed of 12 ceramic stoneware tiles featuring the famous "Herbarium" motif, created by directly imprinting real tree leaves and ferns into the clay before firing. The "R. CAPRON" signature is clearly visible on the edge of one of the tiles. The ceramic is in very good overall condition, retaining all its finesse and nuances. The structure and legs show imperfections and signs of wear related to their original patina, bearing witness to its history without compromising the overall sturdiness. Much more than just a piece of furniture, this small coffee table is a timeless collector's item that will appeal to lovers of 20th century design. This piece has an attribution mark,
