henry walter klein was a norwegian-born furniture designer and trained cabinetmaker who moved to denmark after world war ii. There he studied under the well-known designer finn juhl, among others. The combination of practical craft training and studies in danish furniture design came to characterize his work, which is characterized by well-balanced proportions, soft lines and a great respect for the natural properties of wood.

klein is primarily associated with the danish furniture manufacturer bramin møbler, where he was one of the company's most important designers for many years. Bramin was known for well-made furniture in exclusive woods such as teak and rosewood. The production was characterized by solid craftsmanship and great care for both construction and details - qualities that are clearly expressed in this table.

the round tabletop is slim and has softly shaped edges that give the table an elegant and sophisticated character. The edge is gently rounded and creates a beautiful transition between the top and bottom of the tabletop, which gives the table a light and almost floating expression.

the real eye-catcher of the tabletop is the unusually beautiful veneer layering. The teak is arranged in an effective geometric pattern that radiates from the center of the table and forms an almost diamond-like star. The varying direction and color tone of the wood creates a living depth that changes depending on the light and viewing angle.

the well-thought-out pattern highlights the natural grain and warm tones of the teak while adding a decorative and exclusive character. The table is expressive without feeling overworked, a fine example of how henry w. Klein united artistic design with the pure ideals of danish modernism.

the four legs are round, slim and elegantly tapering downwards. They are also cockily angled, which gives the table a light and lively silhouette. The placement of the legs far out towards the edge of the tabletop creates a well-balanced whole while the construction feels both stable and airy.

the classic and timeless expression means that the table fits just as well in modern homes as in more traditional interiors. It can be easily combined with furniture and decor from different eras, while the beautiful tabletop adds a very unique character to the room.

the legs can be easily dismantled for easier transport.
