Charming earthenware pitcher dating from the early 20th century, humorously depicting a postman in his blue uniform and red hat.
This anthropomorphic piece captivates with its mischievous expression, vibrant colors, and intricate details. The handle, integrated into the back of the figure, allows it to be used as a pitcher, but this antique piece would also make a beautiful decorative or collectible item.
The pitcher is numbered 329 on the base.
Good overall condition, with a patina and slight signs of wear consistent with its age. Please examine the photographs carefully.
An original and characterful piece, ideal for adding to a collection of barbotine pitchers or other antique humorous earthenware.
