Made of highly durable stoneware, the piece features a complex cavernous structure filled with tubular branches, rhythmic openings, and deep hollows. The surface is treated with a mottled ceramic glaze that combines earth tones, ochres, sandy hues, and dark shadows, creating a stone-like texture in each of its folds. Designed with a wide and stable base, its scale allows it to be placed both indoors and outdoors, making it ideal for terraces, patios, or landscaped gardens. Its three-dimensional volumetric design offers different perspectives depending on the viewing angle, interacting with the natural light that penetrates its cavities. The piece is signed and inscribed with the date 02 on the bottom of the base, made in 2002 by a ceramic artist whose identity has not been identified or documented in the available bibliographic records.
