The sculpture features a beautifully stylised yellow glass body with a long curved neck, complemented by exceptionally delicate clear glass legs, feet and beak. Its graceful proportions and expressive simplicity are characteristic of Brychta’s celebrated animal figures, combining remarkable glassmaking skill with a distinctly modernist aesthetic. Excellent condition.
Produced in Železný Brod, Czechoslovakia, circa 1960s. A wonderful example of mid-century Czech studio and decorative glass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
