the composition consists of eight individually glazed ceramic tiles mounted within a slim wooden frame. A highly stylised bird-like figure in black emerges against a richly textured blue and white background, punctuated by vivid red accents.

particularly attractive are the extensive variations and crackled effects of the glaze, which create considerable depth across the ceramic surface.

the graphic composition and restrained wooden frame give the piece a strong architectural presence and make it particularly suitable as a standalone work of wall art.
