The elongated face, almond eyes and closed, contemplative expression recall the Modernist portrait tradition, rendered here in a palette of blush pink, lavender, teal and deep cobalt with flashes of orange.

The paint is applied thickly in places, with visible brushwork and scraped passages that give the surface real texture and movement. Presented in a carved, limed-wood frame with a textured linen liner, a soft, pale surround that lets the color sing.

Condition: good vintage condition with minor surface wear and small age-appropriate imperfections. Backed with paper and wired, ready to hang.
