Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1890–1920), this evocative piece depicts an intimate composition of fresh fruit—including cluster grapes, a cut citrus fruit, and a banana—resting against a moody, deep-toned backdrop that emphasizes depth and rich coloration.
The painting is beautifully housed in its original, heavy, dark-cove molded wooden frame. The reverse features a period-correct stretched canvas on a hand-assembled wooden key stretcher, showcasing authentic oxidation and aging that attests to its genuine historical character. Perfect for a classic gallery wall, kitchen vignette, or traditional study
