Salvaged ladies restroom door from The Filling Station Pub & Grill in downtown St. Charles, Illinois, a longtime local establishment housed in a historic 1920s building. Constructed of pine, the door features a central "LADIES" graphic panel surrounded by a geometric grid of translucent colored plastic panes in blue, amber, and red. Paneled construction along the lower portion, warm aged wood, and retained mortise hardware contribute to its architectural character. Removed from a well-known Fox Valley restaurant and nightlife destination after decades of use, the piece offers distinctive regional provenance and works well as a decorative architectural element, wall display, or repurposed interior feature.
