The palette combines soft ivory with muted reds, light greens, and light blues, creating an unusually gentle interpretation of the traditional garden motif. The colors have developed a beautiful patina over time, further softened by a professional antique wash that gives the entire rug a cohesive, muted appearance.

The combination of botanical imagery, architectural paneling, and softened color creates a rug with remarkable character. Rather than relying on a single central medallion, the composition invites the eye to move across the field, discovering the individual trees, flowers, and decorative elements within each panel.

A truly distinctive antique, this piece would bring both history and visual depth to a room while remaining remarkably gentle in its overall palette.
