This small framed work attributed to Donna Prichard of the Pacific Northwest balances geometric precision with organic movement — the kind of composition that holds your attention differently each time you look at it. Bold primary colors in high contrast pull the eye across layered mixed fiber textures, each one catching light slightly differently depending on where you stand. There is real material intelligence here — an understanding of how fiber behaves, how layers accumulate meaning, and how color can do structural work as well as visual.

Donna Prichard works within the rich tradition of Pacific Northwest fiber art — a region that has produced some of the most significant textile and mixed media work in the American craft canon, from the studios of La Conner to the galleries of Seattle. This piece reflects that sensibility: serious about its materials, confident in its geometry, and warm in a way that only handworked fiber can be.

The piece is unsigned but attributed to Prichard based on sourcing. It is presented in its original frame and in excellent condition — colors vivid and present, no fading, no damage.

Framed dimensions: 6" x 10.25".
