Original watercolor by Florida artist Val Williamson, signed and dated lower right "Val Williamson (c) 1978." Original "Original Art by Val Williamson, Watercolors" studio and gallery label on the back from the artist's Fort Walton Beach, Florida studio.
A weathered wooden farm wagon with spoked wheels rests beside an old slatted barn with a rusted tin roof, surrounded by autumn trees and tall grass under a warm golden sky. Beautifully detailed, realistic brushwork in rich greens, rusty oranges, browns and soft grays.
Presented in a double mat (taupe with a deep burgundy inner mat) and a distressed, carved wood frame with a rustic gilt and cream finish, under glass. Paper dust cover and hanging wire on the back.
A wonderful piece of vintage Florida Panhandle art, ideal for a farmhouse, lodge, cabin or traditional interior.
