The sculpture not only depicts the physical form of 'The Yellow House', as Vincent called his home in Arles', but the tiny air bubbles symbolize and reflect the many ideas and fantasies that took shape Vincent's mind. Rooze and Wasserbauer developed a new, reality based form - YH V2- based on a trapezoidal shape. Vincent' arrears house is part of a long, narrow building with a sloping rear facade, which is clearly visible in Vincent'a bedroom, see 'The Yellow House' (F482).
