Fixed in height, the seat (47cm high x 50cm wide x 46.5cm deep) and backrest are upholstered in brick-red fabric. The French company Neostyl was founded in 1902. Originally called Neostyl (an English company), it specialized in the manufacture and sale of stencil duplicators. In 1907, the French company Neostyl became Roneo, with the aim of manufacturing and distributing office furniture, initially in wood and soon after in metal. At its peak in the 1960s, Roneo built a factory in the Oise region, definitively ending its production of wooden office furniture. These activities allowed the company to grow into a leading name in the world of office furniture. As proof, the words "ronéotyper" and "ronéoter" (to reproduce using a mimeograph machine) are found in dictionaries. In 1970, the company was sold to the British Vickers group. Ronéo furniture remains a flagship brand in industrial furniture. This piece has an attribution mark,
