The architectural frame is entirely clad in individually applied pieces of natural birch bark, creating a richly textured surface with an organic character. Deep brown leather upholstery forms a strong contrast with the lighter tones and raw texture of the birch bark.

Button-tufted leather covers the seat, backrest and inner sides, providing a comfortable seating area within the geometric outer frame. The contrast between the soft leather interior and sculptural bark-covered exterior defines the appearance of the sofa.

Neumann’s characteristic use of natural materials and craftsmanship gives the piece a distinctive position between functional furniture and sculptural design.
