This incredibly stylish organic lamp is attributed to louis sognot and was produced in france during the 1960s. Fully original and in amazing condition, with a charming warm honey-toned natural patina. The pendant features a cylindrical structure made from curved rattan canes, meticulously joined and woven by hand to create a beautiful geometric cage around the parchment paper shade. When lit, the parchment diffuser creates a wonderfully warm, soft and sensual glow, beautifully enhancing the natural tones and texture of the rattan. The lamp has been professionally rewired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, and uses a standard e26/e27 light bulb. The pendant is completed by a matching canopy and an adjustable chain entirely made from interlocking curved rattan rings. A fantastic and truly unique piece, perfect for an organic modern, mid-century modern or french riviera style interior, and equally striking in a contemporary setting.
