Striking signed abstract metal sculpture by noted New York artist and designer Silas Seandel.
The sculptural composition features an energetic arrangement of curling and looping metal ribbons in contrasting silver, bronze, gold and darkened finishes. The intertwined ribbons create a dynamic three-dimensional form that changes dramatically depending on the viewing angle.
The abstract composition is elevated on a slender metal support rising from a square base, giving the piece a strong architectural presence while remaining an ideal size for display on a console, pedestal, cabinet or large tabletop.
Seandel is known for his expressive use of metal, combining varied finishes, textures and fabrication techniques to create distinctive sculptural works.
Signed “Silas Seandel ©” on the base.
