The original beveled mirror glass displays beautiful, heavy historic desilvering, foxing, and ghosting (with one top oval pane showing a stable age crack as pictured)—adding immense authentic "wabi-sabi" character that collectors love. Please review all detailed photos to closely inspect the genuine age-appropriate wear. The frames boast incredibly detailed relief work, featuring a prominent sculptural female classicist/mythological mask flanked by detailed laurel leaves crowning the bottom center. A stately crowned crest finial at the top summit. Vertical inset beveled mirror side panels flanking the central rectangular glass plate, amplifying light refraction. Elegantly scrolling outward-swept single candle-arm sconces terminating in detailed floral/foliate bobeches and candle cups.
