The cabinet retains its original Brunswick maker’s label beneath the lift top, along with its richly finished wood exterior, traditional architectural profile, reeded corner detailing, turned legs, shaped stretcher base, decorative metal door pulls, and handsome period presence.

Originally designed to house a wind-up phonograph and records, this cabinet has been converted for practical storage. The pair of front doors opens to reveal three later-added wood drawers, providing organized interior storage for records, media, barware, office supplies, linens, or other household items. The hinged lid opens to a large upper compartment, which offers additional concealed storage.

Please note: the original phonograph mechanism, turntable, and crank are no longer present. The small round opening on the side is an original remnant of the former crank location. The interior drawers are later additions and are not original to the cabinet. This piece is offered as a repurposed antique storage cabinet, not as a functioning phonograph or an all-original phonograph collector piece.

Condition

Good antique/vintage condition, with wear consistent with age, prior use, and its conversion from a phonograph cabinet to storage.
