Authentic 18th-century copperplate engraving titled "View of the Trajan’s Pillar at Rome". This beautiful Grand Tour era architectural print depicts the famous Roman landmark alongside surrounding classical buildings and a populated street scene.

The lower margin features the historic publication text: "Engraved by the King's Authority for the New Geographical Dictionary". This series was a prominent, highly regarded mid-1700s British geographical compendium.

The backing board features original collector inventory tracking. It was historically part of the private art collection of David J. Bikoff, M.D., P.A. (Inventory No. 72, Reference No. TC-3), and bears a secondary New York auction liquidation tracking barcode (SALE: EUR15091NY). Adding excellent documentation and provenance to the piece.

Professionally housed in a elegant gold-leaf wood frame with multi-layered French-style decorative mat board.
