Description:
An elegant mid-century statement piece by renowned manufacturer American of
Martinsville (Style No. 1130-41). This tallboy chest showcases classic French
Provincial and Louis XVI styling with fluted side pillars and delicate top
carvings.
The absolute highlight of this piece is its rare, original hardware: a beautiful
row of heavy antique-brass twisted rope-bow pulls on the lower drawers, matched
with distinct hexagonal pulls on top. There is just one hexagonal pull missing.
The dresser is structurally in pristine condition with original hardware
completely intact. The original factory-painted, glazed finish shows a wonderful
authentic vintage patina and aesthetic edge distressing. An excellent, premium
canvas for custom lacquer or to be enjoyed immediately as an authentic vintage See less
